Scarlet Oil provides antiseptic treatment for minor
superficial wounds on horses and mules. It cleans and disinfects the
site of injury to prevent infection. In addition, Scarlet Oil promotes
natural, efficient healing and soothes itching and minor discomfort.
It may be used under bandages when a wound requires dressing.

Directions:
- Trim hair over affected area if necessary.
- Wash affected area.
- Apply product directly to wound. If using spray bottle,
hold nozzle 4 to 6 inches away from skin.
- Treatment may be covered with a dressing when appropriate.
Frequency of Use:
Apply Scarlet Oil 1 to 2 times per day as recommended
by your veterinarian.
Storage:
Keep out of reach of children and animals, with the
lid tightly closed.
Store Scarlet Oil at room temperature between 59
and 86 degrees F. This product is flammable. Keep away from heat and
flames.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Scarlet Oil contains several antiseptic ingredients,
including isopropyl alcohol, methyl salicylate, and parachlorometaxylenol.
The inclusion of benzyl alcohol helps prevent bacteria from reproducing
and reduces itching. Pine oil and eucalyptus oil offer additional antiseptic
action and a fresh scent. Mineral oil and some of the other compounds
in Scarlet Oil support the healing process.
