Directions for Viralys Oral Gel:
- Administer a small dab of gel to your cat's nose to stimulate interest.
- Give kittens under 6 months of age two daily doses of 0.65 mL (1/8
tsp.) each by mouth with a syringe or teaspoon.
- Give cats over 6 months of age two daily doses of 1.25 mL (1/4 tsp.)
each by mouth with a syringe or teaspoon.
Directions for Viralys Powder:
- Give kittens under 6 months of age two daily doses of 1/2 scoop (161
mg) each.
- Give kittens over 6 months of age two daily doses of 1 rounded scoop
(322 mg) each.
- Sprinkle Viralys powder over your cat's dry food, or mix it into a
small amount of canned food.
Frequency of Use:
Administer Viralys twice daily.
Storage:
Keep Viralys in its original tube or container, sealed tightly, at
controlled room temperature.
Store this product out of reach of children and animals.

L-Lysine HCl is an amino acid with a demonstrated ability to prevent
viruses from replicating. It also boosts the immune system. These properties
make Viralys an effective supplement in the fight against the feline
herpes virus and some other viral infections and conditions.

Viralys Gel Active Ingredient (per 1.25 mL): L-Lysine HCl 250 mg
Viralys Gel Inactive Ingredients: purified water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, potassium sorbate,
sodium benzoate, artificial sweetener, maple flavor, citric acid, and
riboflavin 5'-phosphate sodium
Viralys Powder Active Ingredient (per 322 mg scoop): L-Lysine 250 mg
Viralys gel is sold in 5 oz. Tubes individually and in packs of 3
and 6.
Viralys powder is sold in 100 gm containers individually and in packs
of 3 and 6. Individual containers of 600 gm containers are also available.

Viralys is not known to cause side effects. If
you think you observe an adverse reaction in your pet, talk to your
veterinarian.
Some cats may experience an allergic reaction
to Viralys. Sudden onset of diarrhea, itching, hives, rash, shock, seizures,
facial swelling, and coma are some signs. Seek immediate veterinary
care.
Overdose is most commonly associated with stomach
upset. If you know of or suspect an overdose, contact your veterinarian
right away.
Consult your veterinarian before using any other
drugs or supplements with Viralys. In large doses, L-Lysine is known
to interact with antibiotics.
